Our Motto & Logo
The logo is an oak tree signifying strength, permanence and nature on a green background signifying both nature and the olive drab used by the military. A light shines through the oak tree from behind signifying the light of truth and a light in the darkness that we would be following a worldwide catastrophe. The crossed swords indicate protection and defence whilst still being able to be used offensively. They are sited in front of the oak tree to block anything that would cause it harm. The swords are also a basic form of low-tech weaponry signifying a capacity to return to the basics. The swords were also the weapon of choice of medieval knights inferring the noble qualities of chivalry and honour (even though most medieval knights failed to display these qualities). The latin words used do not form a sentence but encompass our beliefs. Prudentia: discretion; good sense, wisdom; prudence; foresight; aware, skilled; sensible, prudent; farseeing; experienced Decus: honour/distinction; dignity/virtue; decorum Imaginatio: Imagination |
