Most of the 'good' works of
fiction in this sub-genre of science fiction were published in the 1960's and
70's and thus many are now out of print. But all is not lost! After spending
years scouring Australian second hand book shops with little luck I stumbled
across Abebooks.com. Abebooks is a network of dealers throughout the US, UK and
Canada who between them are able to supply any of the books on the following
list. Prices generally range from USD$1.00 to $9.00 with most less than $2.50.
Postage and Handling to Australia is generally USD$7.00 per book, however, you
can reduce this by buying more than one book from a particular seller.
TIP: When ordering from overseas make sure you specify that the book
should be sent Airmail in the instructions to seller. Most Abebooks seller
do so but there are a few that don't and it will mean the difference between
your book arriving in a week or several months.
