Y2K in Australia - this is a blast from the past! It is the text of a draft article for Cleo magazine written in late 1999. One little snippet of trivia I actually spent most of New Years day at the Woden Valley Hospital with my son who managed to crush one of his fingers in the car door (well he was only 3 at the time). The hospital seemed to be functioning perfectly all day. BTW only some of the article was used by Cleo the rest was probably too moderate and not sensationalist enough.
